Day One

Upon your arrival at Juan Santa Maria International Airport in San Jose, you will be taken by your personal driver to your hotel in central San Jose. Upon your arival each person will get to choose a complementary bottle from an extensive list of alcohol to bring with them to their hotel. Your first stop will be at Fiesta Casino, where you will hear live music and be entertained to the fullest*. The next stop will be up to you since you have a choice of three different places, each offering a different experience; El Pueblo, the hot spot in San Jose where you get a large variety of bars, mostly playing reggeatone, Castro’s, the cities top Salsa club, and Santa Ana, a more upscale area that plays mostly electronic music.

*Once at your hotel, all trasportation in San Jose will be by taxi. The costs for these fairs are all included.

Day Two

You will no doubt spend the day relaxing poolside at your hotel. From your hotel you will be taken to Club Vertigo, one of San Jose’s premiere night clubs. Cover and line bypass are included, along with a reserved spot in the VIP area.

Day Three

A shuttle service will pick you up at your hotel and take you directly to La Fortuna, home to the famous Arenal Volcano. You will be taken directly to the Volcano Hot Springs, where you will have the oportunity to relax in one of ten different hot springs, each one unique in style and temperature.

Day Four

Today is time for a little adventure and sight seeing. You will go horseback riding all the way to the La Fortuna waterfall. The journey is a little rough at times, but well worth the effort once you find yourself in a secluded area away from civilization. We recommend a descent down the River which requires some good hiking shoes that you won’t mind getting wet.

Day Five

The journey continues as you will be boarding a shuttle and going straight to Jaco, Costa Rica’s busiest beach for nightlife and restaurants. Numerous bars offer very distinct experiences for the student traveller. Included in your day’s activities are some surfing lessons. Jaco beach’s waves are just right to learn how to surf for first-timers.

Day Six

Enjoy a free day to spend at the beach relaxing and possibly surfing once again if you would like. Another action packed evenning awaits you along the Jaco beach strip.

Day Seven

A one hour shuttle transfer is all that separates you from the awe-inspiring Manuel Antonio National Park, where two of the country’s most beautiful beaches can also be found. You will recieve a guided tour of the park which is located in a lush jungle filled with various species of animals. During your tour you are certain to meet many of the park’s inhabitants, such as White Faced Monkeys, Sloths and Lizards, not to mention tropical birds.

Day Eight

Enjoy having your personal driver take you back to San Jose. Your pickup time from the hotel will depend on the departure time for your flight. Most flights leave Costa Rica in the early morning or afternoon and ask for passengers to arrive at least three hours in advance.
