Day One

Upon your arrival at Juan Santa Maria International airport, your personal driver will take you directly to your hotel in San Jose. Along with you private transfer you will recieve a welcome package including maps and information to help you get to know your surroundings. You driver will be able to answer any questions you may have regarding your trip.

Day Two

Today is a special day as you will have the opportunity to enjoy a private tour of San Jose. Your guide will have a list of sites* to visit and will create a schedule that is built around your interests. A list of restaurants will also be available for lunch and dinner. This is usually a walking tour but automotive transportation can be arranged.

*Some sites such as museums have a small entry fee, and these costs are not included as these choices will be made with your tour guide.

Day Three

A beautiful four hour drive through the country awaits you in the morning. Your journey will end in La Fortuna, home of the world famous Arenal Volcano. In the late afternoon you will be taken to the Arenal Volcano hot springs where you will enjoy an evening of relaxation. Included at the hot springs is a delicious dinner.

Day Four

On this day you will enjoy two wonderful activities. First, you will be accompanied deep into the jungle on the hanging bridges of La Fortuna to observe the jungle and its inhabitants. Next, you will be brought to a beautiful waterfall* where you will have the chance to swim in one of the most beautiful locations in all of the Americas. The evening is left open for you to enjoy the almost nightly eruptions of Arenal volcano.

* A long descent of stairs in the jungle is the only way to reach the waterfall. This is not recommended for people with walking difficulties or small children.

Day Five

Today you board your hotel shuttle and head towards Manuel Antonio National Park. Considered one of the most popular tourist attraction, this park includes beautiful hiking trails and three seperate beaches.

Day Six

Today is the perfect day to take a small hike into Manuel Antonio National Park and witness nature at its best. This park is famous for its diversity of wildlife and more specifically for its abundance of White Faced Monkeys. Two secluded beaches that surround the jungle await your visit and promise to give you an unforgettable experience with the family.

Day Seven

Your hotel shuttle doesn’t leave until after lunch, so you will have lots of extra time to enjoy under the sun. This night you will be staying near to the airport to avoid any stress or early wake ups in the morning.

Day Eight

Your private pickup time from the hotel will depend on the departure time for your flight. Most flights leave Costa Rica in the early morning or afternoon and ask for passengers to arrive at least three hours in advance.
